A hemocrystallizing toxin cause the formation of crystals in blood cells at normal temperature. Internal bleedings occur as the crystals burst the capillaries.

If the poison is ingested, injected, inhaled or internally produced, as little as a milligram can be lethal. Skin exposure do usually cause a rash due to microscopic cutaneous hemorrhaging.
