Name: Technolalia
Mortality rate: 13%
Risk group: Rotating binds
Primary symptoms: Random html code fragments in everyday talk
Secondary symptom: Color blindness
Epic symptoms: Laryngitis
Treatment: Not available

Technolalia is a rare and severe form of Tourette Syndrome. Primary symptom is the random emission of html-like code in everyday talk, regardless if you're actually talking about web development or not.

Other significant effect of the disability is reduced capability of making colorful expressions, fear of the number 13 and color blindness.

A special variant of the disease affect henchmen. They are simply not being able to speak at all, aka laryngitis.

History

The first cases was reported December 2, 2008. While everyone probably got infected by something that day, it took a couple of weeks before the nature of the disease was confirmed.

Cause

Technolalia is caused by a new strain of the wijnja virus, Trideka. There is no known hemorrhagic case, which is common in some other wijnja viruses.

Treatment

There's only one serum available today. The side effect is nullified tonality in speech, which in some cases can cause more social difficulties than technolalia itself.

A real cure is in development, but it's not prioritized, since technolalia is not considered a severe disease. In addition, the real cure cures technolalia, not the autism like effects on the serum. Anyone who use the serum are strongly encouraged to use something that revert the effect of the serum.
